Research / GEO Lab

Evidence you can inspect.

Document the question, the method and the observations. Publish what changed—and what the study cannot establish.

GEO Lab #1 · Velasco Lawyers

Protocol draft · Baseline pending

A longitudinal study of AI search visibility for a multilingual legal-services website. The initial protocol defines the observations and records interventions before presenting a success claim.

What every study should disclose

  • Prompt selection, language, market, engine configuration and collection method.
  • Run dates, repeated observations, failures and exclusions.
  • Metric definitions, sample size and source evidence.
  • Interventions, relevant external changes and limits on causal interpretation.
  • The relationship to the business being studied and any commercial interest.

Next research question: what changes across languages?

Compare the same commercial intent across languages and markets. Investigate differences in brand visibility, cited sources and result volatility.

I treat differences in authority transfer and market difficulty as questions to investigate, rather than assumptions.
